　　其核心产品之一MS-7，是一款双路皮带喂料注模塑料校正机。这种设备带来高生产速度 – 高达每分钟3,000 个钉子– 并减少了废料。它装备了传送齿轮、双路皮带、水冷卷边齿轮、旋转刀头和自动调整的堆垛机。
　　为了构建MS-7，Zeus公司以性能、废料和设备的运转时间等为基准和推动力，从而使其成为一个具有竞争力的解决方案。为打造高效、经济型设备，Zeus公司与罗克韦尔自动化进行了合作。
Zeus 公司需要驱动挤压机、涂抹传送带和移动传送带的快速标准的电机。公司还需要拥有伺服控制电机的设备来控制刀具和分度器的位置和速度。由于刀具需要与主电机同步， Zeus公司还需要一个外部编码器。另外，分度器事件触发要与生产线速度同步。
　　罗克韦尔自动化OEM团队与Zeus 展开合作，派出了应用和顾问专家。在听取了客户的需求并分析情况之后，OEM团队提出了一套基于罗克韦尔自动化集成架构的解决方案，这套解决方案提供可扩展的控制、网络、可视化和信息技术，用于离散、运动、过程、批处理和传动控制以及安全。另外，OEM团队还为项目提供项目管理、开发、测试和设备安装。
　　MS-7 配置了一个CompactLogix L32E可编程自动化控制器(PAC)，为设备级控制应用而设计。PanelView Plus 1000终端 – 使操作员能够以图形化的形式来监测、控制和显示信息 – 这也是解决方案的一部分。
　　其它元器件包括PowerFlex 40交流变频器，拥有无传感器矢量控制功能;由Ultra 3000数字伺服变频器控制的Allen-Bradley MP-系列低惯性、高转矩无刷伺服电机;以及POINT I/O 模块。RSLogix 5000软件是应用程序的开发平台。
　　根 据 Zeus 的反馈，系统易于安装、学习和使用。RSLogix 5000使编程变得简单，从而减少了工程的时间。 EtherNet/IP和DeviceNet网络通过减少了电缆布线，缩短了启动时间。 EtherNet/IP上的变频器和DeviceNet上的伺服系统确保了控制器中的可访问功能性设备参数可以通过Zeus远程设备管理系统来进行远程访问。
　　Zeus 的反馈是公司将设备启动时间从7天减少到了5天，而工程时间从1 5天减少到1 2天。另外，由于罗克韦尔自动化提供了世界范围的支持服务，Zeus公司依靠罗克韦尔自动化来协助他们解决Zeus公司欧洲和北美客户的维修问题。这样一来就节省了 Zeus公司用于海外旅行的时间和费用。
