    喷涂机器人制造巨头FANUC基于公司原有的LR Mate系列平台，推出了一款新型Paint Mate 200iA智能迷你型喷涂机器人，Paint Mate 200iA替代了原有的往复机件设备，改善了往复机由于喷枪被固定安装而灵活度不够的缺陷。同时，FM和ATEX还将该设备的使用环境划分为三个风险等级。Paint Mate 200iA可被广泛应用于汽车零部件、电气用具、农业设备和消费品及塑料产品的涂装。
   “我们的机器人不是简单定制的往复机件，相反，其拥有一切可靠的性能”，FANUC机器人项目经理Barton Faylor这样谈到，“将所有喷枪集中到一个机器人手腕上，从而有效减少了多余喷枪的数量，为客户提供了更大的灵活性。”
   “紧凑型Paint Mate 200iA高850毫米，并拥有两个型号”，Faylor继续说道，“一个型号配有标准臂长，而另一个型号则提供了延伸手臂。两个型号均配有六个运动轴，同时，机器人手腕的负荷量可达五公斤。标准型的臂长范围达到704毫米，重35公斤，其轨迹重复精度为±0.02mm。延长型的臂长范围达到892毫米，重37公斤，其轨迹重复精度为±+0.03 mm。这款行业内重量最轻和体积最小的喷涂机器人让安装更简单。在节省安装空间的同时，也减少了周边设备的投资，例如：喷房不锈钢材料的使用，送风风机的体积，电能的消耗等等。”
   “该机器人工作范围的自由度很大，因为它可以被安装在地板上，或者安装在墙上，也可以被安装在拐角处或倒置安装”，来自Brampton的Innovative Finishing Solutions总裁Brad Sparkman说。该公司是FANUC在加拿大的喷涂机器人独家经销商。
    此外，Paint Mate 200iA的主要卖点在于其优惠的价格。该产品的售价在40,000美元以下-“几乎是现有涂装机器人价格的一半”，Faylor说。“让自动化成为可能，可以节省大量的劳动力。”
