高可靠性
采用辅助励磁绕组工艺，使发电机具备短路保护能力，保障了负载短路时设备的安全和可靠运行。
励磁机中的永磁体嵌入技术 （PMI）配合 ABB公司新型AVR （自动电压调节器）， 使发电机具备了简单、快速、可靠的启动性能——即使在长时间存储或待机之后。
采用2/3 绕组节距工艺将相电压上的三次谐波降到最小，确保极低的电压波形失真。
机座号为280-400产品，其转子绕组的玻璃纤维槽中采用扁铜线，具有更佳的机械和电气性能。机座号180-250转子绕组使用耐温等级200的圆形漆包线。
所有定子、转子以及励磁设备的制造均采用优质聚酯亚胺的VPI工艺（真空压力浸渍）。以保证绕组能够承受可预期的机械及电子冲击和震动，以及化学物质的腐蚀。
坚固的结构钢机座结构结合ABB一流的喷漆系统，使发电机更加经久耐用。
为了降低机组的振动，发电机的主要部件均经过先进的有限元工具进行分析，确保发电机各部件固有频率远离发动机的激励频率。
基于冷缩技术的键配合工艺保障了主轴和转子之间的连接强度，并保证产生足够的转矩。

定子选用优质圆形双面绝缘硅钢片，使轴承电流和铁损减到最小，同时也增强了发电机的机械强度。
