这个原理其实就类似于我们很多人都在用的主动降噪耳机。在降噪耳机里有一个传感器可以采集和分析周围环境里的那些噪声,然后在耳机里产生相反的声波,这样就可以和噪声的声波相互抵消掉,从而达到降噪的目的。
事实上,这种滤波方式也可以使用无源滤波器来实现,这个也是传统的低EMI设计通常采用的方法。但是无源滤波器非常大,甚至会占整个电源方案总体积的30%。所以在芯片内部集成有源滤波器之后,不但能够对电磁辐射起到很好的消减作用,还能极大的减少器件的尺寸,这样就实现了EMI和面积的双重优化,进而降低成本,节省宝贵的电路空间。
根据TI的数据,在440 kHz频率下,采用这种方案最多可以将前端EMI滤波器的面积和体积分别缩减近50%和75%以上,并且将EMI减少高达50dBuV。和采用典型无源滤波器的设计相比,集成式有源EMI滤波器的设计可以帮助将EMI减少20dBuV。此外,前面介绍的DRSS技术还能帮助在低频和高频频带上将EMI进一步降低5dBuV。

事实上,这篇文章里的内容只是关于模拟芯片非常小的一部分。不过就算是管中窥豹,模拟IC的博大精深应该也可见一斑。
网上有很多人在讨论模拟工程师和数字工程师哪个更高端、或者技术含量更高,也有很多学生朋友在纠结未来到底应该走哪条路,我也收到过很多类似的问题。我个人觉得数字模拟一直都是相辅相成、缺一不可的。比如虽然我主要做数字电路相关的工作,但是也会在工作中接触到很多和模拟相关的内容,就像是文章里介绍的电源和电磁干扰等等。
