INCONEL 625焊丝主要用于熔化极气体保护焊或钨极惰性气体保护焊焊接INCONEL625合金、INCOLOY825\25-6MO合金以及其它含钼不锈钢，还可用于钢的表面堆焊，也可用来焊接镍钢以及各种不同的耐蚀合金例如20合金。将INCONEL 625焊丝用于埋弧焊可以用来焊接INCONEL 625合金或镍钢，或进行钢的表面堆焊，当进行埋弧焊时应当选用INCOFLUX7埋弧焊剂。焊缝金属在较宽的温度范围内具有较高的强度和耐点蚀及裂隙腐蚀等局部侵蚀的能力。INCONEL 625焊丝具有广泛的应用范围，可以用于异种材料的焊接如INCONEL系列合金和INCOLOY系列合金的焊接。
