二级反渗透对一级反渗透产水进行抛光处理,二级RO产水的水质可达到4兆欧。在二级RO进水中加碱有4个原因:a.在pH8.2以上,二氧化碳全部转化为碳酸根离子,碳酸根离子可以被反渗透脱除。而二氧化碳本身是一种气体,会随透过液自由进入RO产水,对于下游的离子交换床抛光处理造成不当的负荷。b.某些TOC成分在高pH下更容易脱除。c.二氧化硅的溶解度和脱除率在高pH下更高(特别是高于9时)。d.硼的脱除率在高pH下也较高(特别是高于9时)。

火灾隐患加剧,通风系统及管道内聚集的油雾和延伸至室外的油雾连通一体,若遭遇明火或火化,会有火势迅速地伸展至室内之危险。无论室内或室外均难以改善污秽状况,室内外大气由建筑物来阻隔是相对且有限,油雾有散布快且广泛的特性,对比过去,时间稍长仍需面对机器,照明光源,地面,和墙壁上暴露的污秽物,此时的室外情形将更为糟糕。费用增加,排出的油雾被直接消耗掉,未能循环收集利用;电力损耗增加,同等功率由于弯头变多及管路拉长,根据压力原理其风压损更大,想达到预期流量势必增大功率,这将形成不利的循环,使用时间越久消耗的切削油越多,电力费用也随之攀升,被消耗的费用甚至远超过投入油雾净化收集器的单位购入成本。
